January 21, 2020 “Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Robotics” at the University's Central Auditorium in collaboration with the Department of Science and Engineering, International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) and the Bangladesh Branch of the Bangladesh Robotics Foundation (BDRF) One discussion meeting was held. This discussion meeting was a special part of the ongoing TechFest-2020 at the University. The chief guest at the meeting was Prof. Dr. of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Chittagong University of Science and Engineering (CUET). Mohammad Shamsul Arefin. Also present as the guest of honor was the Dean of the Department of Science and Engineering, IIUC, Prof. Dr. Md. Delwar Hossain. The event was presided over by Assistant Professor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, IIUC, Prof. SM. Md. Golam Mostafa, Md. Hafizul Imran, Founder of BDRF was present as the keynote speaker and Sultan Mahmud, President of BDRF Chittagong Branch was the coordinator of the program. About four hundred students from various educational institutions of the city including IIUC were present on the occasion.

Guests at the event highlighted the importance of robotics in our daily lives and some contemporary suggestions for building our own careers in this branch. Hafizul Imran, the keynote speaker of the program, discussed in detail on artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics and described various experiences of his work. During this time he demonstrated to the students two “alpha e-bot” robots. Above all, he invited everyone to build their careers in this field and to look forward to the welfare of the country and the nation, and called on all to be aware of one of our major problems, global warming. Honorary mementos were given to the guests present on the occasion. The event was supported by "Daffodil Robotics Lab" and "Robotech City".
