News Details :: Workshop on Robotics

Workshop on Robotics, was held on 19th september 2018 at Notre Dame College. In collaboration with the Bangladesh Robotics Foundation, Notre Dame Science Club organized this. In this workshop, more than 150 students participate in 40 teams.


There are many things in Robotics that are highlighted in front of the student in a wide range of workshops. Specifically, how a robot can establish wireless communication with other devices is taught in hand. Besides, the work of various sensors such as ultrasonic sensors, infrared sensors are taught to give an intelligent robot.

Looking at interests in Robotics of Notre Dame College students, Hafizul Imran announced 50% scholarship in 2 months long professional  training  for up to 20 students. Students will be eligible for this scholarship only if they can reached the viva examination. After this announcement, Notre Dame Science Club gave much appreciation to the Bangladesh Robotics Foundation.

The Bangladesh Robotics Foundation has been operating their programs in the universities so far. But now they are working to start their activities at the school-college level. This will create interest in studying new technologies from the beginning of the students. Digital Bangladesh will be developed this way.
